Where we deliver

We deliver orders from our online shop to delivery addresses in Austria and Germany and on mainland France. Deliveries to Corsica, other French islands and French overseas territories are currently excluded.

Shipping costs and delivery options are determined by the delivery address. The selected website language or a different billing address does not change the delivery area.

For international trade and hospitality enquiries, please contact sales@maisonhautejoie.com. Individual B2B deliveries and their terms are agreed separately.

Shipping costs and free standard delivery

The qualifying amount is the actual value of the goods including VAT, excluding shipping costs and after deduction of all price-reducing discounts.

The purchase of a value gift certificate counts towards the free-delivery threshold (provided physical goods are ordered as well).

Payment with a value gift certificate is treated as a payment method in its own right and does not reduce the goods value used to determine the free-delivery threshold.

The flat fees shown above apply to standard shipping for each delivery country. Below the respective free-delivery threshold, we charge these shipping costs regardless of the number of items ordered. Standard shipping is free once the threshold is reached.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your delivery address and the qualifying goods value. The final order summary shows the shipping costs and total amount before you place your binding order.

Free delivery applies to standard shipping. If additional shipping methods are offered, their costs are shown before you place your binding order.

Delivery times

For physical items in stock, delivery times after receipt of full payment are:

Calculation of delivery periods: The delivery period begins on the first working day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Austria and the respective delivery country) after receipt of full payment. Any different delivery times are shown with the relevant item before ordering. Products marked ‘Coming Soon’ are previews and cannot yet be ordered.

Shipping and tracking

Orders are shipped with Austrian Post or another carrier indicated during checkout.

Where available for the selected shipping method, you will receive tracking information. This allows you to follow the progress of your delivery with the carrier.

Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order. This includes your name, street, building number, staircase or apartment number where applicable, postcode, town or city and delivery country.

If you notice an error after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible at service@maisonhautejoie.com. We cannot guarantee changes after the parcel has been handed over to the carrier.

Digital gift certificates

Digital gift certificates are delivered by email. No parcel shipping costs apply to their digital delivery. The parcel delivery times above apply to physical goods.

Please check the recipient’s email address particularly carefully. The relevant product description explains how the gift certificate is delivered and which personalisation options are available.

If your order also contains physical products, the delivery terms and free-delivery thresholds above apply to their shipment.

If there is a problem with your delivery

If your delivery is damaged, incomplete, contains incorrect items or cannot be found despite a delivery confirmation, please email service@maisonhautejoie.com.

Where possible, please provide:

• your order number;
• the affected item or missing delivery;
• a brief description of the problem.

For visible damage, photographs of the goods and packaging help us investigate. Please keep the packaging for the time being where possible. Photographs and retaining the packaging are not prerequisites for exercising your statutory rights.

You are welcome to contact us directly about delivery problems. Your statutory warranty rights and other consumer rights remain unaffected.

For consumer purchases using a shipping method offered by us, we bear the risk of loss or damage during transit until the goods are handed over to you or a person you have designated to receive them, other than the carrier.

Prices and total amount

All prices are stated in euros. Prices displayed to consumers in the online shop include the applicable VAT.

Before placing your binding order, you receive a summary of the items ordered, applied discounts, shipping costs, taxes and the final total amount.

Payment methods

Depending on the delivery country, device and availability, the following payment methods are offered during checkout:

The payment methods available for your specific order are displayed at checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay are additional options; you may also use the regular checkout.

Ordering with Apple Pay or Google Pay

Apple Pay or Google Pay can import supported address and payment details from your wallet.

You then review your items, delivery and billing addresses, shipping costs and total amount in the final MHJ order summary. The contractual terms and withdrawal information are also available there.

Importing your wallet details alone does not place a binding order. You place your binding order only by clicking ‘Order with obligation to pay’ in the final MHJ order summary. Our Terms & Conditions explain when the contract is concluded.

Secure payment

Depending on the payment method, your payment provider may require additional authorisation, for example through a banking app or a security check.

We never request full card details, card security codes, online banking passwords or authorisation codes by email or telephone.

If a payment is interrupted or you are unsure whether your order was successful, please first check the order confirmation displayed and your email inbox. If anything is unclear, we can help at service@maisonhautejoie.com.

Withdrawal and returns

Information about your statutory right of withdrawal, the procedure and return shipping costs can be found in our withdrawal information.

The ‘Withdraw from contract’ function is available for submitting an electronic withdrawal declaration. You may also declare your withdrawal through the other channels described in the withdrawal information.
